I am going to interpret this statement to mean that the synthetic thyroid hormone brand name "Synthroid" is ineffective to treat normal hypothyroidism side effects, such as abnormal weight gain.
Conclusion: Synthroid is INEFFECTIVE to treat normal hypothyroid symptoms!
